Having explored Vansittart Bay, it was time to head around to the next finger of the Kimberlies – Admiralty Gulf. The first day we only made it as far as Parry Harbour after creeping around Cape Bougainville against the tide. Luckily we had whales playing around us to help pass the slow trip.
As soon as we anchored we dropped the dinghy and raced ashore to explore some interesting rock formations beside us. We spent a few hours climbing over the tops and through the cracks before we forced ourselves to collect a few oysters for entrée. We had Ron from Rapshody over for dinner – the only boat we’ve met since King George River.

Interesting rock formations there. Hope you put some clothes on when Ron came over.
