We spent the next day exploring Yellow Patch by dinghy. Yellow Patch should be called orange patch, a sand hill sloping down to deep water and bordered by coloured sand flats.

There was a race to the top of the dune, the loser being on dishes for a week. This was no where near as fun or fast as the race to the bottom. We could overhear a man in a dinghy of the baby boomer vintage passing comment over the noise of the outboard, "If I could get to the top, I'd stay there"!

Wow, the colour of that sand! Looks like a fun sandhill. I would like to slide down that on a boogie board.
