Farewell Fraser

It's been ages since we've posted as we're getting into more and more remote areas. Remote and exposed - we are constantly running to avoid bad weather!

We finished at Fraser with a flying visit of Platypus Bay, Lagoon Anchorage. We would have stayed longer but bad weather was on it's way so we raced over to Bundy with Simon in the Captains chair. I think Fraser was one of our favourite places to date as by boat we could access some really remote areas.

Bundy in the storm was an experience! We had no groceries left after over staying at Fraser. The weather was foul and the boat was wildly swinging back and forth fighting the current and the wind. We spent 5 days without leaving the boat in these conditions - what a way to test your marriage. When the weather finally cleared, I copied the locals and hitched into to town.

That is a great photo of Simon lying on deck. I can only imagine he had a towel or blanket on his head to drown out Amanda.
