Morris Island

Our next stop was Morris Island – another known croc home. The winds were light so we had a long slow sail but with company. A long dark fish swam with us the whole way to Morris. We’ve never seen anything like this before and it was so close, swimming and watching us we could get a photo. Morris was a lovely sand cay with extensive reef behind it. Unfortunately there was a bit of rubbish washed up from the trade winds, although it was still very pretty. We were lucky enough to catch up with Terry on San-E-T who we had spoken to on the HF radio for the last year but never met. He gave us the biggest mud crab and oodles of oyster for dinner – chilli mud crab here we come.

Ah an evil stalker fish. I've read about those. Be careful. ;)
